TACO Marine Grand Slam 960 Electric Masthead Anchor Light GS-960

The TACO Grand Slam 960 (GS-960) is a fully electric, telescoping masthead anchor light engineered to bring enhanced safety, durability, and style to powered vessels up to 39' (12 meters). Building on the proven GS-950 platform, the GS-960 features a durable stainless-steel body with a Type 316L stainless-steel breakaway pin for superior corrosion and weather resistance, plus a new stainless-steel anti-backlash linear screw drive for smooth, reliable operation season after season.

Its oblong housing design accommodates a longer, more powerful motor for excellent performance at sea, while oil-lite bronze bushings and a high-torque drive keep the deploy/retract action consistent even in demanding marine conditions. The light is certified to meet the USCG's 3 nautical mile visibility requirement and NMMA/ABYC C-5 5.8 standards, giving boaters confidence that they remain compliant and visible after dark. Installation is simplified with a hidden base wire that runs inside the hardtop and the same hole pattern as the GS-950, making it a drop-in upgrade for existing installations.
