Sea-Dog's Stainless Steel Dome Light brings classic, heavy-duty styling to any cabin, cockpit, or below-deck compartment. The housing is constructed of corrosion resistant stamped 304 stainless steel, giving it a polished, mirror-like finish that stands up to the marine environment while looking right at home on sail or power boats. The prismatic glass lens spreads light evenly across the space, and the fixture is finished with polished trim rings and mounting screws for a clean, traditional nautical look.

This dome light is prewired with an integral on/off toggle switch and an 18.4 watt DC double contact bayonet bulb, so it's ready to wire in and use right out of the box. For boaters who want to upgrade to solid-state lighting, the fixture can be converted to LED with a bayonet bulb socket adapter (442042-1) using a BA15D style base and G4 bulb, both sold separately. It surface mounts with three RH fasteners (not included) for a quick, secure installation on any flat overhead or bulkhead surface.
